Cres - an island with preserved nature and traditions

The island of Cres is the largest and least populated of the Croatian islands, making it perfect for stress-free holidays.

Croatia's largest island, Cres, can be found in the beautiful Kvarner Bay. Hidden bays, high cliffs, small towns on hills and gastronomy to die for are what make it so special. Plants and animals
Cres is renowned for its biological diversity. A total of 1,400 plant species live here, including 43 species of orchid, 9 species of violet, 7 species of wild rose, 6 species of sage...
Cres is home to 24 species of reptile, but there are no poisonous snakes. Also present are 35 types of mammal, 87 types of butterfly, and more than 200 types of bird. In Cres, the most famous bird is the griffon vulture, which is also known as the sky guardian.

Lubenice
There have been people living in Lubenice for over 4,000 years. One of the world's most famous and picturesque beaches can be found 378 metres below the village itself. Beaches on Cres range from small to large, organized from wild, easy to access to more difficult to reach.

Olive
Cres ist eine Insel, die für ihr extra natives Olivenöl bekannt ist. Tatsächlich war das Olivenöl von Cres das erste in Kroatien, das die europäische Ursprungsbezeichnung erhielt. Sis
One of the highest peaks on Cres is called Sis. This is the perfect place for a hiking visit and to admire the panoramic view to the south of the island or towards the Rijeka Bay.
